    Dr. Derrik Peterson
    Chiropractor

Dr. Peterson grew up in Chino Hills and graduated from Chino Hills High School in 2007. As a local product, he was involved in the community doing service projects as part of the Boy Scouts of America where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Dr. Peterson has been married to his wife, Denise, for seven years and they have three beautiful children: a boy and two girls. The Petersons love this community and are enthusiastic to continue their journey here and to serve those around them.

Having been a life-long beneficiary of chiropractic therapy, the choice to become a chiropractor himself was a simple one. Dr. Peterson feels it is his mission to help others achieve their healthcare goals safely and naturally through chiropractic care. He began his studies in 2010, earning undergraduate credits at Mount San Antonio Community College before applying to the Southern California University of Health Sciences, also known as the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, in 2014.

As a chiropractic student, Dr. Peterson was interested in every aspect of care and spent a large amount of time in various clubs and specialty classes. During his time as a student, he had the opportunity to intern at local universities and community colleges where he was able to treat a large variety of conditions that he expects to see in his own practice. He helped serve the local community, offering free services to underserved areas as well as participated in health fairs offered to our nation’s veterans. On campus, Dr. Peterson acted as a mentor to underclassmen, helping them to hone their techniques and grasp some of the more difficult aspects of managing care. Upon graduating, he has been board certified by the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners. After growing up and receiving chiropractic care, Dr. Peterson thinks it is extremely important to educate everyone on the benefits of pediatric and spinal care. This is why he took specific classes on pediatrics and geriatrics.

Dr. Peterson feels his experiences up until now have prepared him to care for a variety of ailments and given him the tools to help those in need. Chiropractic is as much a learning process as a healing one and he looks forward to aiding patients in regaining control of their health.
